We all want our programs to be communities of adults making meaningful strides toward educational goals, but sometimes our openness to new students can sidetrack even the most focused teachers and students. Open-entry/open-exit classrooms have been a defining feature of adult education. However, current research weighs in strongly for managed enrollment.
