US Civics For Immigrants Teacher Training

This two-part workshop will prepare participants to teaching the US Civics for Immigrants curriculum effectively. They will receive a structure for lessons, the contents of the curriculum, and the materials used in the lesson modules.

This two-day workshop introduces practitioners to the research-based U.S. Civics Curriculum for Immigrants developed by the Literacy Volunteers of Westchester & Rockland Counties, New York. Participants will discuss ways of adapting the curriculum for their program and classes.

March 15 9:30-4:30PM and March 16 9:30-4:30PM.
