Webinar-GED Prep: What Teachers Need to Knowpre-GED and GED Teachers
GED and pre-GED teachers can make taking the GED less anxiety provoking and a smoother experience for students by preparsing them for the experience of taking the test. Effective student preparation can result in students bring the proper identification to the test site, completing required forms and filling in answer sheets correctly, understanding the testing environment, and most important to the student, receiving timely information about how well they performed on the GED test. Effective student preparation is important for programs so that they attain improved GED results for NRS reporting. Teachers will learn what they can do in the classroom to integrate GED test preparation into instruction. This webinar will be led by Pat Mooney and Kimberly Malcolm, NYSED/GED, and Sandra Belitza-Vacquez, NYSED/AEWD.
